Celebrating 26 years of Excellence in Education, the Brewster Education Foundation is proud to present the 2010 Honoree Award to the Brewster Central School District Performing Arts Department.

This year, the Annual Gala Benefit Dinner will be taking on a different venue in conjunction with the upcoming Brewster High School musical production of “Oklahoma”. Formal attire for the event will be replaced with a Country Western theme to get everyone in the mood for a “kick up your heels” event.

The event will be a catalyst for promoting the BCSD Performing Arts as well as recognizing the arts in our community. The Brewster High School ‘Foggintown Fiddlers” will provide music during the cocktail hour, followed by a selection of show tunes performed by the cast of the upcoming Brewster High School musical production, ‘Oklahoma’.

The evening will include a BBQ dinner, silent auction, dancing and plenty of opportunity for socializing.

Country Western casual attire is suggested as we gather for a ‘good old community hoe-down celebration’!

Mr. George Viglucci, Coordinator of the Brewster Schools Performing Arts Department will be accepting this years’ Honoree Award on behalf of the BCSD Performing Arts. The BCSD Performing Arts Department has become the public face of the Brewster school community while enriching the lives of its students, families and residents. Over the course of the last decade the department has grown in magnitude to exemplify the presence of the arts within our community.

With the help and support of all those who participate and patronize the arts, as well as our local community groups, the Performing Arts have truly come to define the Brewster Schools and the Southeast community as a regional home for the Arts.
